Sam Tyler	Past
My name is Sam Tyler. I had an accident, and I woke up in 1973. Am I mad, in a coma, or back in time? Whatever's happened, it's like I've landed on a different planet. Now, maybe if I can work out the reason, I can get home.	2006. I finally made DCI with the Greater Manchester Police. It had been all I ever wanted since I was just a little kid. I've recently separated from Maya, the love of my life, and while that does not an ideal situation make, I was still happier than I was before my car accident. I've never heard of someone's present being chronolically later then their past, but I'm doing my best to make it 'back' to 2006.
Present	Future
1973. For whatever reason, I've been demoted to DI and I'm working back at the 'old' police station with a new boss that is absolutely without a doubt the most bent, self centered, impossible person you could ever hope to work with. I'm running out of answers and the voices don't stop coming. I haven't been able to save my broken home...so maybe it's my duty to save his?	The future is up to you. I am neither Sam Tyler nor John Simm. This journal is just for fun. The character's canon begins just as Series One comes to a close. Series Two is therefore completely AU.
